Monidor's Board Strengthens with Experienced MedTech Leaders

We are delighted to announce two new members joining Monidor’s Board of Directors, bringing extensive experience in international growth, health technology, and strategic leadership. Their expertise will support Monidor’s strategy for strong growth in wireless patient monitoring.

Jukka Kettunen — Chairman of the Board
Jukka Kettunen is an experienced growth, sales, and board professional with a strong background in international business and health technology. As former CEO of 9Solutions, he led the company to a successful acquisition by Assa Abloy and has previously held senior leadership roles at Becton Dickinson Nordics and Orfer. Jukka brings deep expertise in sales leadership, organizational development, and strategic transformation.

Laura Piila — Member of the Board
Laura Piila is Vice President, Devices at Optomed Plc, where she leads global operations across Finland, China, and the U.S. She is an accomplished executive with strong experience in medical technology, international sales, and SaaS-based solutions. Laura’s background includes product and business leadership at Optomed and Nokia, supported by a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu.

With Jukka and Laura on board, Monidor advances its mission to improve patient safety and nursing workflows while driving international growth through intuitive wireless patient monitoring.
